Thích Quảng Đức
A Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhistmonk who burned himself to death at a busy Saigon road intersection on 11 June 1963. Đức was protesting the persecution of Buddhists by South Vietnam’s Roman Catholic government led by Ngô Đình Diệm.
After his death, his body was re-cremated, but his heart remained intact.

PacWave.com is stoked to announce we now carry Freedom Artists, just like the shop. FA is that cool… Check out some of the awesomeness.
Freedom Artists is an independent art-based clothing label. Their mission is to provide an environment that allows artists the freedom and independence to create and showcase some of their best work. With a background in surfing, skating and snowboarding, they grew up doing this and they are all the same in their minds-one big way of life. These sports are artistic and rebellious in nature and are a breeding ground for all types of artists-surfers, skaters, snowboarders, filmmakers, photographers, painters, musicians, writers and so on…
